A leading, multidisciplinary engineering consultancy in London is seeking a Senior / Principal Electrical Engineer to join their growing team. You'll play a key role in delivering innovative building services solutions across a diverse project portfolio including commercial, residential, healthcare, education, and mixed-use developments.
What you'll be doing:
Leading the design and delivery of electrical systems (lighting, power, fire alarm, security, and low-carbon energy solutions)
Managing projects from concept through to completion, ensuring designs are compliant, efficient and innovative
Coordinating with mechanical, structural and architectural teams to produce fully integrated designs
Mentoring and developing junior engineers
Engaging with clients, contractors and stakeholders to ensure expectations are met
About you:
Chartered or near-chartered Electrical Engineer (BEng/BSc/MEng or equivalent)
Strong UK building services design experience across multiple sectors
Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design software
Excellent knowledge of UK electrical standards and regulations (BS 7671 / IET Wiring Regulations)
Strong leadership, communication and technical problem-solving skills
