Document Controller - Residential High-Rise

A well-capitalised, design-led residential developer is seeking an experienced Document Controller to join a flagship high-rise residential development in South East London.
The business is known for delivering large-scale, high-quality residential schemes across London, working with leading consultants and contractors. This is a site-based role, requiring full-time presence on site.
Key responsibilities include:
Taking full ownership of the document control function on a live high-rise residential project
Managing drawings, specifications, RFIs, schedules, and project correspondence across all stages
Uploading, issuing, tracking, and archiving documentation in line with project procedures
Liaising closely with the site team, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure accuracy and version control
Supporting procurement activities, including management and distribution of procurement documentation
Ensuring all documentation complies with internal systems and project requirements
Experience required:
Demonstrable experience as a Document Controller within the construction industry
Strong residential and high-rise experience is essential
Confident using Viewpoint / Procure or similar document management systems
Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing documentation independently
Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, site-based environment
Additional information:
Site-based role only - no hybrid or remote working
Salary on offer is £35,000 - £45,000 basic, depending on experience
