Design Coordinator / Design Manager - High-Rise Residential
South East London

A well-funded, design-led residential developer is looking to appoint a Design Coordinator or Design Manager to work on a major high-rise residential scheme of 500+ units in South East London.
This is a site-based role, working closely with the delivery team on a complex, large-scale residential project. The business is seeking someone who is confident managing their own workload and can be trusted to take ownership without the need for micromanagement.
The role:
Managing and coordinating the design process on a large high-rise residential scheme
Taking responsibility for packages from early stages through delivery
Liaising with consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure design information is issued correctly and on time
Identifying and resolving design issues proactively to support site progress
Working closely with the wider project and construction team to ensure buildability and programme alignment
Requirements:
Proven experience working on high-rise residential projects is essential
Comfortable managing own projects and working independently
Strong technical understanding and confidence coordinating multiple design packages
Able to work in a fast-paced site environment
Site based role - must be able to work from site full time
We are open to speaking with Design Coordinator or Design Managers
Design Coordinator: Support will be provided by a Senior Design Manager, however you will be expected to step up quickly and take on increased responsibility
Design Manager: Must be capable of running design elements independently with minimal oversight
