Senior Electrical Engineer - London
I'm working with a well-established, independently owned building services consultancy that is continuing to grow its London team off the back of a strong pipeline of residential and commercial projects.
They're looking to bring in a Senior Electrical Engineer who wants to take on more responsibility, work closely with senior leadership, and play a key role in delivering high-quality, design-led projects across the UK.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is either already client-facing or looking to step into that space, with the support of an experienced senior team around you.
The Opportunity
You'll be joining a collaborative consultancy environment where engineers are given real ownership of projects, along with the support needed to progress technically and professionally.
You'll:
- Take a lead role in the electrical design of projects from concept through to completion
- Attend and contribute to design team meetings alongside senior leadership
- Work closely with clients, architects, contractors and fellow consultants
- Carry out site inspections and feed back into the wider design team
- Support and mentor more junior engineers where required
- Contribute to a range of sectors including residential, commercial and mixed-use developments
What They're Looking For
- 5+ years' experience within a UK Building Services Consultancy
- Strong electrical design experience across building projects
- Experience with software such as Dialux/Relux and Amtech (or similar)
- Degree qualified in Building Services Engineering or a related discipline
- Working towards Chartership (or keen to do so)
- A broader understanding of MEP disciplines including sustainability and public health
- Confident communicator or someone keen to develop client-facing skills
- Working knowledge of CAD/Revit
Why This Role?
- Clear progression pathway with strong support from senior leadership
- Opportunity to work on a diverse range of high-quality projects
- Collaborative, close-knit team environment
- Strong emphasis on work-life balance
- Chance to play a key role in a growing London office
If you're looking for a role where you can step up, gain more exposure, and be part of a consultancy that genuinely invests in its people, this is well worth a conversation.
