Our client is an independent transport and infrastructure planning consultancy seeking a Senior Transport Planner with circa 4+ years' experience to join their London office.
The consultancy works with leading private and public sector clients across the UK and overseas, delivering transport planning solutions for residential, mixed-use, commercial, urban regeneration and land development projects.
The Role
You will play a key role in delivering transport planning advice across the full project lifecycle, from early feasibility through to planning submission and detailed design.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing multi-modal access strategies and transport designs for development and public-sector projects
Undertaking site visits, corridor studies, walking and cycling assessments, and supporting public consultation
Preparing Transport Assessments, Travel Plans, Delivery & Servicing Plans, technical notes and reports
Carrying out capacity and junction modelling using PICADY, ARCADY, LINSIG and VISSIM
Reviewing designs through swept path analysis and application of relevant design standards
Supporting large-scale masterplanning and feasibility studies
Delivering transport inputs for complex planning applications and supporting schemes through to on-site delivery
About You
Around 4+ years' experience in transport planning
Consultancy background preferred
Strong technical and report-writing skills
Experience with industry-standard modelling software
Confident communicator with a collaborative approach
