Senior Electrical Engineer - Building Services Consultancy (London)

The Role
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll lead and support the delivery of design projects from concept through to completion. You'll be responsible for managing engineering design, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring all outputs meet high technical and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the design, management, and supervision of electrical engineering projects.
Establish client briefs, technical requirements, scopes of work, cost plans, and deliverables.
Oversee project progress, budgets, and design quality, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
Produce and review designs, reports, specifications, and drawings in collaboration with CAD and other engineering disciplines.
Maintain excellent relationships with clients and design teams, driving repeat business through quality service.
Support your Group Leader in monitoring resource allocation and contributing to project planning.
Ensure designs comply with CDM regulations and company QA systems.
Contribute to continuous improvement of technical standards, specifications, and design processes.
Take ownership of your personal development and contribute to mentoring junior engineers where appropriate.
About You:
Degree qualified in Electrical or Building Services Engineering (or equivalent).
Chartered or working towards chartership (CIBSE or IET).
Proven experience delivering electrical design projects across multiple sectors.
Strong communication skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across disciplines.
A proactive approach to client engagement and project leadership.
