Our client is actively seeking to expand their civils team over the next 12 months, opening up significant opportunities for personal and professional career development.
They are looking for a Project Civil Engineer to join their team of 20 in Central London. They are a forward-thinking engineering firm with a strong structural and civil engineering foundation. As a consultancy, they work across varied sectors including hotels and resorts, cultural and retail, residential and mixed-use developments!
As a Project Engineer, you will drive the Civil Engineering team's growth and success, while collaborating closely with the Associate Director.
Key responsibilities:
Design and technical consultation of civil infrastructure, including below-ground drainage, sustainable drainage systems, external works, highway works (s278), and earthworks
Contribute to planning stages and the creation of flood risk assessments, drainage strategies, foul water management plans and utility statements
Oversee project delivery and management, ensuring successful outcomes
Technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members
Prepare fee proposals, negotiate project budgets, and manage the delivery of projects on budget and in a timely manner

Requirements:
Relevant qualifications in Civil Engineering (Meng/BEng)
Working towards Chartership or Chartered civil engineer status
Minimum of 5 years of UK experience, successfully delivering building, infrastructure or land development projects from concept design to site phase
Industry experience in Civil Engineering, with a focus on designing drainage, SuDs, external works, roads and earthworks
Proficient in software design tools such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D, alongside experience using hydraulic modelling packages like Infodrainage or Microdrainage.
