I'm currently working with a long-established regional civil engineering contractor looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to support ongoing growth within their commercial team.

This is a site-based role overseeing schemes typically ranging from smaller packages through to multi-million-pound projects. You'll take responsibility for applications for payment, cost value reconciliations, forecasting and reporting, while managing subcontractors from procurement through to final account. The position also involves identifying and valuing variations, managing change events, cost capture and providing ongoing commercial support to operational teams.

You'll work closely with site management and client representatives, attending meetings and ensuring contractual obligations, notices and documentation are managed correctly and in a timely manner.

The ideal candidate will hold an HNC or degree in Quantity Surveying (or similar) and have at least 2 years' post-graduate experience within groundworks, earthworks or civil engineering contracting. Strong commercial awareness, organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple live packages are essential.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and well-respected contractor with a strong regional presence and consistent pipeline of work.

If you'd like further details, please get in touch for a confidential discussion.
