Are you a proactive Quantity Surveyor looking to develop your commercial expertise on high-profile, multi-discipline infrastructure programmes? Our client, a leading contractor with a diverse portfolio, is strengthening their commercial team and seeking someone who can support delivery across complex schemes - with a notable pipeline in the energy and regulated sectors.

The Role

In this role, you'll assist with the commercial management of major projects, contributing to financial control, contractual compliance, and positive commercial outcomes. You'll work closely with project teams and stakeholders, helping ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the commercial function on complex projects

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with delivery teams and clients

  • Assist with forecasting, reporting and cost control

  • Contribute to value management, efficiencies, and innovative delivery approaches

About You

  • Degree, HND/HNC or equivalent qualification

  • Professional accreditation or working towards it

  • Experience within contracting commercial departments

  • Exposure to energy infrastructure (e.g. National Grid) and/or rail environments

  • Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial practices

  • Solid IT capability including Word, Excel, COINS, ASite, CEMAR and PowerPoint
