In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering complex and challenging construction projects, taking on increased responsibilities and utilizing your expertise in cost management, contract administration, and project financial control.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and feasibility studies for construction projects
Conduct detailed measurements and valuations of construction work
Analyse and interpret contract documents, drawings, and specifications
Negotiate and manage subcontractor agreements and procurement processes
Monitor project costs, prepare interim and final accounts, and ensure cost compliance
Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery
Provide professional advice on cost-effective solutions and value engineering
Requirements:
Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in the construction industry
Comprehensive knowledge of construction contracts, regulations, and industry best practices
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Proficiency in cost estimating software and Microsoft Office suite
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
