Civil Project Engineer | 4+ Years' Experience | Central London
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented Civil Project Engineer to join a dynamic and award-winning engineering consultancy based in central London. This role offers exposure to a broad range of commercial, residential, retail, and mixed-use projects, as well as strong support toward chartered status and ongoing career development.
The Role
This is a hands-on position where you will take ownership of key civil engineering elements across high-profile projects. Responsibilities include:
- Performing drainage calculations and flow modelling using Causeway Flow
- Producing roads/S278 drawings and civil sketches using Civil 3D and AutoCAD
- Leading design and site meetings and carrying out site inspections
- Providing technical support including reports and presentations
- Mentoring and guiding junior engineers
- Collaborating with sub-consultants and specialist designers
Candidate Requirements
- BEng (Hons) in Civil Engineering or equivalent
- 4+ years' post-qualification experience in a consultancy environment
- Proficiency in Causeway Flow, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong client focus and time management
- Ability to work under pressure and liaise effectively with project teams
