Pre-Construction Senior Technical Manager - Remote - £400-£450/day
We're looking for a Pre-Construction Senior Technical Manager to join a leading developer, focusing on early-stage housebuilding projects. This is a remote contract role starting full-time before transitioning into part-time after the first few weeks.
You'll oversee projects from inception through to completion, with responsibility for technical compliance, utilities, drainage, warranties and ensuring developments meet NHBC and building regulations standards. The role offers the chance to guide schemes from the ground up, providing technical leadership and safeguarding quality from day one.
What you'll be doing:

  • Managing technical aspects of new housing schemes from the earliest stages
  • Overseeing utilities, drainage, and NHBC warranty processes
  • Providing compliance checks and technical guidance across projects
  • Collaborating with design and construction teams remotely


What we're looking for:

  • Strong start to finish (RIBA stages 0-7) technical management experience in housebuilding
  • Proven background with a developer
  • Strong knowledge of UK utilities, drainage, NHBC, and building regulations
  • Confident managing projects through all stages of pre-construction
