They are seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer to support the mechanical design team across a variety of projects, helping deliver high-quality solutions while gaining exposure to a wide range of sectors and project scales.

The Opportunity
As an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer, you will:
Produce mechanical design drawings, calculations, reports, specifications, and schedules
Support compliance with BREEAM and Building Regulations Section 6 Part L
Witness test and commission installations to ensure performance and quality
Undertake spatial planning for plant areas and non-intrusive surveys of existing installations
Assist in mentoring trainee engineers and reviewing outputs from junior staff
Contribute to design team and project meetings, liaising with internal and external stakeholders
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, legislation, and emerging technologies
Support senior engineers and associates in delivering projects on time, budget, and to the highest technical standard
Help the team achieve growth objectives by contributing to high-quality project delivery and repeat business
This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of technical tasks while learning from and supporting senior colleagues.
What They're Looking For
BEng (Hons) in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering (HNC/HND considered)
Ambitious, self-motivated, and strong team ethic
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Computer literate with CAD or Revit experience
Commitment to working towards chartership and maintaining CPD
Desirable:
Chartered status or actively pursuing it
Experience with IES software for thermal analysis
Multi-disciplinary understanding of building services
Membership of CIBSE or Institution of Engineering and Technology
