Highways Engineer / Technician - Oxford

The Opportunity
We are working alongside a highly respected, independent transport and infrastructure consultancy to appoint a Highways Engineer / Technician for their Oxford office.

The Role
You will play a key role in the technical delivery of highway and drainage designs across a range of development projects. This will include:
Preparing detailed highway and drainage drawings
Supporting Section 278 and Section 38 highway approval submissions
Producing technical outputs using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
Assisting with access design, swept path analysis and visibility assessments
Coordinating with engineers and planners to ensure technically robust submissions
Supporting design development from feasibility through to approval
You'll be trusted to take responsibility for your outputs while working within a highly collaborative engineering environment.
What We're Looking For
Experience as a Highways or Civil Engineer / Technician within a consultancy
Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D
Understanding of UK highways design standards and S278/S38 processes
Ability to manage multiple technical tasks with attention to detail
Strong communication skills and a proactive mindset
