Our client, a globally recognised property consultancy, is seeking an exceptional Director to lead and expand their Building Surveying Oxford-based team. This is a pivotal senior hire, offering the opportunity to take full ownership of a growing service line within a highly respected firm.

The Opportunity
This role is ideally suited to an experienced and well-connected Building Surveyor ready to step into a true leadership position. You will play a central role in driving the strategic growth of the Building Surveying offering across Oxford and the wider region, combining hands-on delivery with a strong focus on winning new business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, develop, and grow the Building Surveying team in Oxford

  • Proactively win new business, leveraging your network and market presence

  • Build and maintain senior client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor

  • Deliver a full range of Building Surveying services, including project management, dilapidations, and technical due diligence

  • Work closely with other service lines to identify cross-selling opportunities

  • Mentor and develop junior and mid-level surveyors, fostering a high-performing team culture

Requirements

  • MRICS qualified with extensive post-qualification experience

  • Proven track record of securing and delivering work within a consultancy environment

  • Strong network within the Oxford / wider Southeast property market

  • Demonstrable leadership experience with the ability to grow and inspire teams

  • Commercially astute, entrepreneurial, and driven to build a business
