Design Manager - Industrial Projects
Location: London & Northern Home Counties
Salary: £70,000 - £75,000 (All-Inclusive Package)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Are you an experienced Design Manager with a strong background in industrial projects? We are seeking a proactive and detail-driven individual to join our growing team and lead the design delivery across a portfolio of industrial developments in London and the Northern Home Counties.

About the Role:

You will play a key role in managing the design process from pre-construction through to project completion. Working closely with clients, consultants, and contractors, you will ensure design compliance, programme efficiency, and high-quality outputs across all industrial schemes - including warehouses, logistics hubs, and manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and coordinate all design activities throughout the project lifecycle

  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure requirements are captured and met

  • Manage external design consultants and technical teams

  • Ensure design information is issued on time and aligns with project programmes

  • Lead design reviews, manage design risk, and support value engineering initiatives

  • Ensure compliance with planning, building regulations, and technical standards

  • Strong understanding of UK planning and building regulations
