Civils Team Lead - Development Infrastructure - Highways, Drainage, Earthworks - Senior or Principal or Associate Civil Engineer - Farringdon - London - Full Time - Permanent

We're looking for a Civils Team Lead in the creative heart of Farringdon, London! This could either be an Associate, Principal or Senior Civil Engineer.

The Role: You will be tasked with leading and growing a brand-new civils team in an already well-established structural design practice. You will have the opportunity to shape the new team in your image, as well as provide mentoring and upskilling opportunities to the more junior members of staff, that will be joining you. Plenty of work can be given to you from the two other offices, which you will work with collaboratively, and you will have a growing role in business development as the team develops.

The firm have around 50 staff in total, with the London office being less than 15, with modern studio style workspace. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal yet productive and progressive. The company offer a relaxed dress code and flexible working hours. Requirements:

  • Recent hands-on technical experience in the design of highways, drainage and earthworks, relating to new developments and redevelopments;

  • Knowledge of industry standard design software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D/PDS/Site 3D, and Micro/InfoDrainage or Causeway Flow.

  • The ability to work independently on projects;

  • Excellent communication skills, passion and drive are essential;

  • The willingness to start small and have a team set up around you.
