Salary: £35,000 - £45,000
We are looking for a Civil/Structural Engineer with experience within the rail sector to join our client's team in Surbiton. As a company, they specialise in providing solutions to the infrastructure sector including civils, structures, power and electrification.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a small but rapidly growing consultancy, you will be working with several significant Tier 1/ Principal Contractors.

You will be providing solutions for the following areas in rail and power:
Lineside services and structures
Platform extensions
Station refurbishments
Substation design
HV cable route design
Renewables schemes
Embankment and cutting works
Responsibilities
Deliver innovative structural engineering solutions on all projects and stages
Manage junior engineers and technicians to produce complete, coordinated and high-quality calculations, drawings and specifications, on time and on a budget to meet agreed deadlines
Undertake multi-disciplinary design and co-ordination activities
Health and safety at all stages of the design process
Produce physical and/or computer models of projects
Ensure all necessary opening-up and site investigations are carried out on all projects to properly assess the ground conditions, excising buildings and boundary conditions
