I have a fantastic opportunity for a Civil Design Engineer to join my client's consultancy in Manchester. They are a leading design consultancy with offices in both London and Manchester. They are an employee-owned trust, with a highly respected reputation for providing intelligent and innovative design solutions.

You will be developing SuDs for major developments, producing detailed designs of below-ground drainage networks, including SuDs elements for buildings, highways and public realms. You will also be involved in highway, pavement design, ground modelling and flood mitigation design. As a Civil Design Engineer, you will work closely with the Senior members of staff on projects across a range of sectors including residential, commercial, education, healthcare and retail.

The ideal candidate will have a few years working within a civil design consultancy and have a strong academic background. It is also beneficial to be working towards Chartership with the ICE and have knowledge of design software such as Microdrainage, Civil 3D and the use of BIM.
