What you'll be doing
Working directly alongside Directors and senior leadership, you'll take ownership of your own instructions from day one. You'll advise a diverse client base across multiple sectors, delivering both core building surveying services and an expanding portfolio of cladding and fire safety commissions-placing you at the cutting edge of modern compliance and risk management.

From diagnosing complex defects to advising on fire safety and major refurbishments, you'll be trusted to provide clear, confident, and commercially astute advice on projects that genuinely matter.

As the Chartered Building Surveyor you'll be:

  • Delivering a full suite of building surveying services from instruction to completion

  • Leading condition surveys, building pathology investigations, and complex defect analysis

  • Acting as Contract Administrator on refurbishment, fit-out, and repair projects

  • Undertaking cladding assessments, fire safety-related surveys, and remediation advice

  • Advising on building regulations, statutory compliance, and fire safety best practice

  • Producing high-quality technical reports, specifications, schedules of condition, and dilapidations

  • Carrying out pre-acquisition and technical due diligence surveys

  • Mentoring and supporting Assistant and Graduate Surveyors

  • Building trusted client relationships and contributing to business development

About You

  • MRICS-qualified Chartered Building Surveyor

  • Minimum 2 years' post-qualification experience in a consultancy environment

  • Strong technical grounding in building pathology, construction, and contract administration

  • Confident managing multiple projects with autonomy and precision

  • Excellent report-writing, communication, and client-facing skills

  • Commercially aware, solutions-focused, and proactive

  • Ambitious, with clear leadership potential and a desire to progress
