Associate Transport Planner - Bristol


I'm working with a leading built environment consultancy seeking an experienced Associate Transport Planner to join their Bristol team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong background in development planning and transport consultancy, ready to step into a senior role.
This role would suit a Senior or Principal Transport Planner looking to lead projects, manage clients, and play a key role in growing a successful transport planning team.

What you'll be doing

  • Delivering and overseeing transport planning projects

  • Supporting project budgets, resourcing, and team leadership

What you'll need

  • Degree in a relevant subject (Transport, Geography, Civil Engineering, Maths, etc.)

  • Proven experience in transport planning, ideally in the private sector

  • Knowledge of trip generation, distribution, design standards, and transport assessments

  • Experience with TRICS, Junctions 10, LinSig; CAD or road safety skills a plus

  • Proactive, solutions-focused mindset with excellent communication

  • Full UK driving licence
