Associate Civil Engineer - Lead with Purpose in a Design-Driven Practice
A leading engineering consultancy, known for their creative and sustainable approach to the built environment, is seeking an experienced and driven Associate Civil Engineer to join their dynamic and collaborative team.
This is a key leadership opportunity for someone with 10-15 years of experience, including UK-based project delivery, who's ready to take the lead on significant projects while mentoring others and shaping technical strategy.
Role Highlights:
Lead the civil engineering delivery on multi-disciplinary projects across sectors like residential, public realm, commercial, and education.
Manage design teams, project timelines, budgets, and client relationships.
Drive sustainable infrastructure solutions including complex SuDS, drainage strategy, flood risk assessments, and earthworks.
Represent the civil engineering discipline in meetings, tenders, and strategy discussions.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience leading civil engineering design and project teams.
Chartered (or Incorporated) Engineer with strong technical skills in Civil 3D and MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage.
Experience managing clients, contracts, and multidisciplinary coordination.
A proactive mentor who supports junior staff development and knowledge sharing.
Commercially aware with a strategic mindset and strong problem-solving ability.
