An established and forward-thinking property and construction consultancy is now seeking a motivated Apprentice Building Surveyor to join their growing team in Cambridge.

Responsibilities
As an Apprentice Building Surveyor, you'll work closely with an experienced and supportive Building Surveying team, gaining hands-on experience while studying towards a recognised qualification. You'll be involved in a wide variety of professional surveying and project-based work, with structured training and mentorship throughout your apprenticeship.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting with building condition surveys and defect inspections
Supporting the preparation of technical reports and client documentation
Helping produce specifications, schedules of work and tender information
Assisting with contractor tender reviews and basic contract documentation
Attending site inspections to observe quality, programme and health & safety
Supporting fee tracking and basic project administration
Attending client, consultant and contractor meetings alongside senior surveyors
Travelling to sites across the region as required
Requirements
This opportunity is ideal for someone at the early stages of their career who is eager to learn and develop within a consultancy environment.
You'll ideally have:
A strong interest in Building Surveying and the construction industry
A relevant qualification (A-levels, T-Level, HNC/HND or similar) or practical experience
A willingness to study towards a Building Surveying degree and RICS accreditation
Good communication skills and a professional, proactive attitude
Basic IT skills (AutoCAD knowledge is beneficial but not essential)
A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred)
