About the Role:
We're working with a dynamic and growing consultancy that specialises in transport planning, sustainable travel, and development planning. Their team supports both private and public sector clients across the UK, delivering innovative solutions for residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Transport Planner to join their London office and play a key role in shaping the future of transport and development. You'll be part of a collaborative, forward-thinking environment that balances career progression with genuine work-life balance.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare transport assessments, transport statements, and travel plans for a variety of development projects
- Conduct junction capacity modelling using industry-standard software (e.g. Junctions 10, LinSig, TRICS)
- Provide advice to clients on transport strategies, sustainable travel, and active travel initiatives
- Engage with local authorities and stakeholders to support planning applications
Who We're Looking For:
- Some experience in UK transport planning or development planning
- Familiarity with producing technical reports such as Transport Assessments and Travel Plans
- Understanding of junction capacity modelling software desirable (e.g. ARCADY, PICADY, LinSig, TRICS)
- Degree in Transport Planning, Geography, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and eager to develop your career
