Are you a commercially driven Senior Quantity Surveyor looking to shape high-profile, multi-discipline infrastructure programmes? Our client, a leading contractor with a diverse project portfolio, is looking to strengthen their commercial team with an experienced professional who can confidently deliver across complex schemes - with a notable pipeline in the energy and regulated sectors.

The Role

In this senior position, you will take ownership of commercial management across major projects, ensuring financial control, contractual compliance and strong commercial outcomes. You'll interface with internal delivery teams and external stakeholders, influencing performance and contributing to safe, efficient, quality-led delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the commercial function on complex projects

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with project teams and clients

  • Ensure accuracy in forecasting, reporting and cost control

  • Drive value, efficiency, and innovative delivery approaches across programmes

About You

  • Degree, HND/HNC or equivalent qualification

  • Professional accreditation or working towards it

  • Strong background within contracting commercial departments

  • Proven experience within energy infrastructure (e.g. National Grid) and/or rail environments

  • Sound understanding of construction contracts and commercial best practice

  • Excellent IT capability including Word, Excel, COINS, ASite, CEMAR and PowerPoint
