Are you an experienced Quantity Surveyor looking for an exciting new opportunity with a growing construction consultancy? My client is seeking a talented Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team in London.

The Role

As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in managing costs and providing expert quantity surveying services on a range of construction projects. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and feasibility studies during the pre-construction phase

  • Conducting value engineering and cost control activities throughout the project lifecycle

  • Reviewing and analyzing contract documents, drawings, and specifications

  • Preparing interim valuations, variation orders, and final accounts

  • Liaising with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders

  • Mentoring and developing junior members of the quantity surveying team


Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with proven senior-level expertise

  • Strong background in delivery hospitality projects

  • Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement methods, and cost management principles

  • Proficient in the use of quantity surveying software

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
