Senior or Associate Quantity Surveyor

Our client is a multi-award winning, industry-leading construction consultancy based in Leeds. With an exceptional reputation built over 30+ years, they provide specialist quantity surveying, project management, building surveying and consultancy services across a wide range of sectors including commercial, residential, education, healthcare and more.
They are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their talented team. This represents an excellent opportunity to work for one of the region's premier construction consultancies on a diverse array of high-profile building projects.
Role and Responsibilities:
Prepare cost estimates, valuations, and final accounts for construction projects
Conduct detailed measurement and valuation of works
Negotiate with contractors and subcontractors on pricing and contractual matters
Prepare and analyze tender documentation
Manage sub-contractor accounts and final accounts
Provide advice to clients on procurement strategies, contracts, and cost management
Liaise with project teams including architects, engineers, contractors and clients
Experience as an Employer's Agent on projects would be an advantage
Requirements:
Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
Minimum 5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor, working on building projects
Strong knowledge of construction contracts, regulations and best practices
Expertise across the project lifecycle including pre and post-contract phases
Experience working with JCT, NEC and bespoke forms of contract
Excellent analytical, communication and client presentation skills
