I'm recruiting for a well-respected, sustainability-driven building services consultancy that is looking to appoint a Senior Electrical Engineer to strengthen its Bristol office. With a strong reputation across the UK and internationally, this firm is known for delivering innovative, low-carbon engineering solutions across sectors such as healthcare, education, commercial, residential, and industrial.
This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced engineer to lead on technically complex projects, mentor junior engineers, and play a key role in delivering sustainable design solutions that make a real difference.
What you'll be doing:
Leading electrical design from concept through to delivery
Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and contractors
Preparing and reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and calculations
Driving sustainability and low/zero carbon strategies in design
Attending and leading project meetings and site visits
Supporting the development and mentoring of junior team members
Staying up to date with emerging technologies and industry standards
What we're looking for:
Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
Strong working knowledge of relevant software (Amtech, Revit, Relux/Dialux)
Familiarity with British Standards, Building Regs, and sustainability frameworks
Ideally working towards or already Chartered (IET/CIBSE)
Strong communicator with leadership capabilities
