Senior Civil Technician
Hertfordshire
Up to £48,000 + benefits


I'm currently working with a well-established, growing civil & structural engineering consultancy that is looking to appoint a Senior Civil Technician to support its expanding infrastructure team.
This is a great opportunity to join a forward-thinking business delivering projects across residential, commercial, and infrastructure sectors, with strong exposure to 3D design and BIM-led workflows.


The Role:
You'll play a key role in producing high-quality civil engineering drawings and 3D models, supporting the design and delivery of infrastructure schemes from concept through to construction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Producing detailed CAD drawings and 3D models

  • Supporting drainage, highways, and infrastructure design

  • Assisting with site data, surveys, and technical reports

  • Coordinating with engineers, architects, and project teams

  • Maintaining project documentation and design standards


About You:

  • Experience as a Civil Technician within a UK consultancy

  • Strong AutoCAD / Civil 3D skills

  • Good understanding of drainage and infrastructure design

  • Detail-oriented with strong communication skills

  • Comfortable working within a collaborative design team
