I'm excited to be recruiting for a well-established, forward-thinking transport & Infrastructure consultancy seeking a Senior Civil Design Engineer to join their growing team. With 3 offices across the UK, they deliver innovative solutions across transport planning, highways (S278/S38), drainage, and infrastructure projects for major private and public sector clients nationwide.
The Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity to lead and manage a range of highway design projects, working closely with the Senior Management Team while mentoring junior staff. Key responsibilities include:
Project management and delivery of S278/S38 highway schemes
Preparation and review of designs compliant with DMRB, MCHW & local guidance
Overseeing resource allocation and team performance
Client liaison and technical advice at senior level
Use of Civils 3D, PDS Flow and preparation of contract documents
About You:
We're looking for a proactive engineer with:
Proven experience delivering S278/S38 projects
Strong technical skills and knowledge of DMRB
Confident leadership, mentoring and project management abilities
Proficiency in Civils 3D & PDS Flow
Ideally, membership of a relevant professional body
