Senior Civil Design Engineer - London (Waterloo)
Salary: Up to circa £55k + Excellent Benefits
Are you a Senior Civil Engineer looking for a rewarding role with real project ownership and progression in central London?
I'm working in partnership with a well-established, multi-disciplinary design consultancy based near Waterloo, who are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Design Engineer to play a key role in their growing civil infrastructure team.
In this position, you'll lead and deliver a diverse portfolio of projects across residential, commercial, senior living, and healthcare sectors. You'll take responsibility for managing your own schemes from concept through to delivery, while mentoring junior engineers and contributing to the continued success of the team in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Strong proficiency in Civil 3D and Causeway Flow
- Proven experience delivering civil infrastructure projects independently
- Sound knowledge of S278, S38, and S106 statutory agreements
- Ability to manage workloads, deadlines, and client expectations
- Excellent communication and technical reporting skills
- Experience producing Flood Risk Assessments and Drainage Strategy Reports (highly advantageous)
- Previous experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers (desirable)
