I'm currently supporting an award-winning, design-led engineering consultancy in their search for a Senior Civil Engineer to join their growing central London team. This is an excellent opportunity for a creative and technically capable engineer with a minimum of 5 years' experience who's ready to take the next step in their career.

The Role
This is a full-time role, ideal for a self-driven engineer who thrives in a collaborative environment. You'll bring strong technical and analytical skills to a varied portfolio, ranging from small-scale refurbishments to complex, large-scale developments.
You'll also play an active role in project delivery and stakeholder engagement, working closely with architects, contractors, and local authorities.
Key Responsibilities:
Design of below-ground drainage systems including SuDS
Retrofitting and site-wide drainage infrastructure
Producing Drainage Statements and Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs)
Designing private roads to adoptable standards
Performing vehicle tracking and swept path analysis
Liaising with local authorities on highways and drainage consents
Working with AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroDrainage/Flow
Requirements:
ICE-accredited degree in Civil Engineering
5+ years' experience in civil infrastructure design
Actively working toward ICE chartership
Strong communication and collaboration skills
High level of organisation and attention to detail
Confidence using Civil 3D and MicroDrainage (or equivalent)
