Secured Loan Advisor - Hemel Hempstead
We are working with a leading mortgage broker based in Hemel Hempstead, known for their commitment to customers, ability to help clients, and strong industry expertise. They specialise in secured loans and bridging finance, working closely with lenders to place deals that often sit outside standard published terms.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Secured Loan Advisor. You will be responsible for advising and guiding clients on secured loans, ensuring the best possible solutions are tailored to their needs. The role involves working closely with lenders and brokers to identify and structure deals effectively, requiring strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide professional advice and guidance on secured loans.
Work closely with lenders and introducers to identify suitable deals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, lenders, and stakeholders.
Manage cases from initial enquiry through to completion.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
Previous experience in the finance industry, ideally with secured loans (not essential).
CeMAP qualification is desirable but not essential - this can be supported as part of the role.
Strong knowledge of lending products and relevant regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
High attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
Proficiency in IT systems and software.
