We are a dynamic and forward-thinking Quantity Surveying and Project Management consultancy based in London, delivering innovative and sustainable solutions across the residential and commercial sectors. As part of our commitment to energy efficiency and net zero targets, we are expanding our retrofit team and are seeking a qualified Retrofit Assessor to join us.


Role Overview
As a Retrofit Assessor, you will play a key role in the delivery of PAS 2035-compliant retrofit projects. You'll work closely with our project managers, quantity surveyors, and external stakeholders to assess buildings and support the development of tailored, cost-effective energy efficiency measures.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-site and remote Retrofit Assessments in line with PAS 2035

  • Collect data on the property's condition, occupancy patterns, energy performance, ventilation, and construction type

  • Produce detailed Retrofit Assessment Reports to inform the Retrofit Coordinator

  • Liaise with clients, surveyors, and project managers to support the development of whole-house retrofit plans

  • Maintain accurate records and ensure all work complies with current regulations and industry best practice

  • Contribute to the consultancy's sustainability and decarbonisation strategy

  • Attend site meetings and client briefings as required


Requirements
Essential:

  • Qualified Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA)

  • Qualified Retrofit Assessor (PAS 2035 compliant)

  • Experience carrying out retrofit or energy assessments

  • Knowledge of UK Building Regulations and retrofit standards

  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy

  • Excellent communication and report-writing skills

  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

Desirable:

  • Experience working within a consultancy or construction environment

  • Understanding of PAS 2035 roles and processes

  • Familiarity with RdSAP software and relevant retrofit tools

  • CSCS card or willingness to obtain
