Quantity Surveyor - Construction Consultancy

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and analyse cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for construction projects
Conduct site visits and quantity take-offs to ensure accurate cost projections
Negotiate and manage contracts, subcontracts, and procurement processes
Monitor project costs and implement cost control measures
Evaluate and process payment applications, change orders, and claims
Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
Provide value engineering and cost-saving recommendations
Qualifications and Experience:
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry, ideally with consultancy or client-side exposure
Strong understanding of construction processes, methodologies, and best practices
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., RICS, CIOB) are highly desirable or working towards
