Are you a Civil Design Engineer looking to make the next step in your career?

We are seeking an experienced Principal Civil Design Engineer to lead major development infrastructure projects in our client's London office. You will manage teams of engineers and designers to deliver innovative solutions for highways, drainage and earthworks.

Our client is a multidisciplinary consultancy with a huge focus on sustainability. They have an outstanding reputation for providing world class sustainable solutions across the built environment. As a Principal Civil Design Engineer you will be working on below ground drainage (including Section 104) and standard road design (including Section 38/278). In addition you will be required to prepare flood risk assessments, design SuDs, and use computer modelling software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Microdrainage.

You will also be responsible for delegating design work to junior members of the team, working with clients and assisting in the management of the team, reporting to the team leader.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

  • Extensive experience in Civil Infrastructure design

  • Chartered with ICE (CEng MICE)
