Key Responsibilities:

  • Producing drawings and specifications for Electrical Building Services Systems

  • Carrying out design calculations utilizing both manual and computer techniques

  • Monitoring own design delivery for quality, program, and budget

  • Liaising with other design department members to understand clients' requirements and select appropriate solutions, plant, and equipment

  • Understanding and implementing sustainability and low-carbon technologies

  • Site management of contractors and installations for compliance with design

  • Continued Professional Development (CPD) and learning about new technologies and developments

The ideal candidate will have a degree in mechanical or building services engineering and will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in design in building services.

You must have experience using design software such as Relux/Dialux, Amtech and Revit. It is desirable to have a membership with CIBSE or IET and have the ambition to become Chartered.
