Key Responsibilities:
Producing drawings and specifications for Electrical Building Services Systems
Carrying out design calculations utilizing both manual and computer techniques
Monitoring own design delivery for quality, program, and budget
Liaising with other design department members to understand clients' requirements and select appropriate solutions, plant, and equipment
Understanding and implementing sustainability and low-carbon technologies
Site management of contractors and installations for compliance with design
Continued Professional Development (CPD) and learning about new technologies and developments
The ideal candidate will have a degree in mechanical or building services engineering and will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in design in building services.
You must have experience using design software such as Relux/Dialux, Amtech and Revit. It is desirable to have a membership with CIBSE or IET and have the ambition to become Chartered.
