I'm working with a progressive, people-focused building services consultancy that is looking to strengthen its Bristol office with the addition of an Electrical Design Engineer. Known for their sustainable approach and collaborative culture, they deliver cutting-edge solutions across sectors including healthcare, education, residential, commercial, and zero-carbon developments.
This is a brilliant opportunity to join a team that values technical quality, sustainability, and staff wellbeing. You'll work on a diverse range of projects, support innovation in building performance, and play a key role in delivering meaningful, low-carbon design.
What you'll be doing:
Designing electrical systems for buildings across multiple sectors
Producing specifications, layouts, and calculations
Collaborating with internal teams and attending client meetings
Supporting LZC strategies and sustainability goals
Using design tools such as Revit, Amtech, Relux/Dialux
Keeping up to date with CPD and new technologies
What we're looking for:
Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
Understanding of British Standards, Building Regs (HTM knowledge beneficial)
Familiarity with BREEAM and low carbon technologies
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
