Are you a Contracts Manager in the North West looking to change it up and take on a new challenge?
I am working with a proven civil engineering contractor who is looking for an individual to lead a large portfolio of Civil Engineering projects in the North of England. The role involves effective portfolio leadership of several schemes across a framework or contract. As the Contracts Manager, you will monitor and control the financial contracts of each project, ensuring Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality compliance is maintained all the while procedures and objectives are met.
Responsibilities:
Plan projects and ensure they are programmed to a level of detail necessary for the site team to deliver the scheme without delays
Ensuring the review of progress, budget resources, forward planning, and lookahead programmes are carried out
Risk management
Chair and attend internal and external meetings
Procurement of materials
Engaging subcontractors
Ensure site team are compliant with commercial policies and procedures
Attend tender handover meetings and deliver pre-start meetings to the site team
Produce and analyse progress reports, updated costs and forecasts
Reviewing CVRs

The ideal candidate will have:
Ability to display previous experience gained in a similar role
A degree or certificate in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
A UK driving license
