Key responsibilities of the Building Surveyor:

  • Lead and deliver on major refurbishments, technical due diligence, and dilapidations instructions

  • Advise and influence landlords, tenants, investors, and occupiers with clear, commercially astute guidance

  • Take ownership of PPMs, defect analysis, and commercial building surveys with precision and impact

  • Collaborate across disciplines, working alongside some of the best in the industry

  • Build long-term relationships, driving growth and shaping the future of the practice

Requirements:

  • MRICS qualified, ideally with 1-2 years' PQE

  • Track record as lead consultant, contract administrator, or employer's agent

  • Excellent communicator, able to inspire trust and credibility

  • Strong technical expertise across dilapidations, TDD, and PPMs

  • Commercially minded, detail-focused, and confident working independently

  • Flexible to travel across the UK (full driving licence required)
