Do you have experience working as a Business Development Manager within either the civil engineering or wider construction field? Are you interested in a new challenge? If so we may have just the role for you!
Our client is an engineering company, involved in some interesting projects across the UK. They are looking to add a Business development Manager to their team to represent them with external parties within the UK and Ireland. Your role would involve maintaining contact with with existing, pre and potential clients and gathering and following up future leads on upcoming work opportunities. Other responsibilities include:
Developing and maintaining contact with clients (existing and potential), consultants, contractors, suppliers, authorities and stakeholders;
Attend conferences, exhibitions and other networking events;
Identifying and obtaining information regarding future project opportunities in the UK and Ireland
Considering and making recommendations regarding possible partnerships, both with other contractors, consultants for the delivery of large or complex projects.
Actively assisting in the preparation, including writing, of tender and other submissions
In return for this they are offering a Hybrid working pattern, with a standard week probably involving something like one or two days in their offices, a day a week from home and 2 or 3 days a week on the road meeting with clients. Obviously with your working week being flexible around and fitting the demands of your workload.
They are also offering a competitive salary based upon experience, as well as a company car, 30 days holiday, pension and private health care.
