My client is seeking an experienced and talented Associate Director Quantity Surveyor to join their industry-leading healthcare team. This is an exceptional opportunity to play a key role on major healthcare construction projects for their prestigious client base of hospitals, medical facilities, and pharmaceutical companies.
Responsibilities:
Lead quantity surveying services from design through to project completion on large-scale healthcare projects
Prepare cost estimates, value engineering studies, life cycle costing, and contract documentation
Conduct risk and value management assessments
Negotiate contracts and finalize accounts with contractors
Oversee measurement and valuation of construction works
Manage project QS teams to ensure adherence to program, quality, and budgetary goals
Build and maintain strong client relationships
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of quantity surveying experience, with significant healthcare project exposure
Degree in Quantity Surveying or related construction field
Excellent commercial management, negotiation and client handling skills
Proven track record of leadership on major construction projects over £50 million
Professional accreditation such as RICS or CIOB membership
Strong communication abilities to liaise with clients, contractors and stakeholders
High degree of motivation, with ability to work independently and as part of team
